Project Description (Abstract):
How and why do dying stars create buckyballs? As a team member of an international collaboration, you can help figure this out by analyzing new observations from the Very Large Telescope (VLT) and NASA’s Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA). This project involves data processing and analysis in addition to computer simulations.
